We are proud to be selected for the second time as a Silver Sponsor of the IATA Global Fraud Prevention Event held on 23-24 September in Miami, USA. Nethone will also participate in the World Financial Symposium that will last until 26th September. Nethone will participate in this global industry event for the third time in a row. This year’s edition as the Silver Sponsor and on stage. Our fraud prevention expert and Nethone’s CCO Rodrigo Camacho will share his knowledge on “Transitioning from rules to Machine Learning” topic on the first day of the event. During the presentation, Rodrigo will cover issues concerning technical aspects of machine learning solutions and its impact on everyday operations of travel companies. Everybody talks about Machine Learning but most still use rules to conduct payment fraud prevention. Let’s talk about transitioning from rules to ML without taking on risk. Easier said than done? We’re ready to discuss, explains Rodrigo Camacho and invites all GFP participants to his presentation.
Global Fraud Prevention event is organised by IATA – The International Air Transport Association that represents 290 airlines (that equals to 82% of total air traffic). The purpose of the GFP is to create a space where global airlines, OTAs, card schemes and service providers from all over the world can share knowledge and network. Specialists from the industry have a unique opportunity to discuss the latest global fraud payment trends and industry payment projects. We are proud to have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion on how to make the travel industry more secure and resistant to new fraud trends among fraudsters.
World Financial Symposium, also organised by IATA, is an event focused on global airline financial issues and brings together over 800 financial executives and specialists sharing the latest best practices and trends within the industry.
